Head of Department
With a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from JNTUH, Dr. Mohd. Umar Farooq has dedicated 18+ years of his career to teaching undergraduate courses at MJCET, as well as at both Royal Engineering College and VIF College of Engineering & Tech. His passion for academic engagements has led him to serve as an adjunct faculty member at both IETE Hyderabad and the Royal Institute of Technology & Science. Throughout his academic career, He has achieved significant accomplishments. He served as NBA-Coordinator for CSED at MJCET and NAAC-Coordinator for CSED at MJCET. In addition, He presided over as Session Chair at the IEEE International Conference on Control, Robotics, and Cybernetics IEEE ICCRC-2011 and delivered the inaugural guest lecture as the keynote speaker at SIM2K7, a national-level technical conference sponsored by RITS, Hyderabad. Moreover, He is a certified Dale Carligie High Impact Presentation skills trainer by WIPRO’s MXLA Academic Program Cell at Osmania University premises, Hyderabad. Additionally, He is a life member of MISTE, AIRCC, and IACSIT. Overall, He is continues building a career in research in line with my academic interests, experiences, and achievements.He has several International Journal publications, Edited Book Chaptersand Patents to his credit.
