Overview

     The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) was established in 2023 with the objective of providing quality education in emerging technologies. The department offers a B.Tech. in CSE (Data Science) with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The program is designed to provide a strong foundation in Computer Science along with specialized knowledge and practical skills in Data Science.

The curriculum focuses on key areas such as Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Deep Learning. The program enables students to acquire the skills required to collect, process, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data and derive meaningful insights for effective decision-making.

The department is supported by dedicated and experienced faculty members committed to providing quality education through effective teaching, practical learning, research, and innovation. Well-equipped laboratories and modern computing facilities provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems.
